Artist's Note:

'Up, Frenetic' is an intriguing artwork that challenges conventional perspectives. Through experimental photography, the mischievous cat takes centre stage, photographed from an unconventional angle that confounds the viewer. With its abstract nature and lack of contextual detail, the image invites interpretation and sparks curiosity. The vibrant blue sky provides the only point of reference, while energetic patterns add a frenetic visual energy created through the layering of different images.

This piece is part of the #CrossingBoundaries series, which explores the intersection of representation and abstraction. Inspired by my own experiences of navigating between cultures, this collection reflects on the idea of overcoming boundaries in life and invites viewers to engage with the unconventional and embrace new perspectives.
